Job purpose


Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Follows schedule in order to accurately pull for correct jobs. 
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on work orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered on daily production sheets.
  • Loads materials into vehicles for transport and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Routinely operates industrial forklift, overhead crane and hoists.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Performs any related duties as required or assigned.

Electrical Engineer


Full-time

The Electrical Engineer will carry out various engineering tasks, such as creating electric installation drawings and bills of material, performing calculations to ensure our systems meet all local, state and federal safety standards and collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues. This position is responsible for research on manufacturing processes and analyze data and trends to create new products and assist in development and implementation of systems to monitor and remotely report and record data from the panel through various sensors and J1939 data for production and maintenance analysis. This role also includes analyzing existing products with a view to improving their efficiency and overall performance.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
  • Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards. 
  • Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.
  • Define customer needs and requirements.
  • Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
  • Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems.
  • Summarize data and report on test results.
  • Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets. 
  • Monitor maintenance and inspection plans.
  • Create documentation to be implemented by our Technical Publications department.

Technical Publication Engineer

$45,000-$50,000 Annual salary

The Technical Documentation Engineer will provide support for all aspects of Engineering documentation including change management, product release and product specifications.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work with the engineering department and write manuals to instruct operators on equipment safety, set-up, start-up and maintenance.
  • Photograph and document safe practices, set-up, start-up and field installation.
  • Work with engineering drawings to create parts books to aid the operator’s in identifying parts, identifying assemblies and ordering parts.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of manuals.
  • Monitors status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule.
  • Confers with engineers, customers, and others to discuss project and prepare documents.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time to visit customers with the Field Service Team to document the equipment.
